VisitorTapTM

Connect Instantly with a Tap

What is VisitorTap?

VisitorTap makes church connections effortless.

VisitorTap transforms the way your guests and members engage with your church. Using NFC technology, your guests can fill out a connect card, sign up for an event, give to the church - - all with a single tap. No apps, no friction—just connection.

How it Works
Three Easy Steps
1. Tap

When a guest taps their phone on a VisitorTap card, their phone opens up to any link or tap.tree you choose. All can be instantly customized in the VisitorReach Dashboard.

2. Connect

Get your church instantly connected. Whether it’s signing up for an event, giving online, downloading sermon notes, or completing a guest card, VisitorTap makes every next step simple.

3. Assimilate

Creating personalized journeys in the VisitorReach Dashboard makes follow-up easy. Follow-up with guests by text and email or provide key information to members through automated communications.

VisitorTap FAQ'S
Should we install our Tap Products on every seat in the sanctuary?
We recommend a Tap Card on every chair of a church auditorium. This helps to avoid the potential awkwardness of a guest needing to reach across a person next to them to access. It also allows you to avoid worrying about placement if your chairs are ever re-organized.
Where are other places we can use Tap products outside the sanctuary?
Tap products can be placed in your New Guest Connect area, Kids area, Lobby Cafe, as part membership class, and as follow-up to outreach events (such as Fall Festival, Easter egg hunt, Christmas, etc).
What are the ordering options for VisitorTap Cards?
There are two options currently available - both in black or white.

• The round option is a sticker that can adhere to most surfaces including fabric chairs.
• The rectangle card option is a thick plastic (similar to the weight of a credit card) and does not include adhesive. You can add velcro to the back or other mounting options if necessary.
Why is a tap card better than a QR Code?
Tap technology (NFC) outperforms QR codes for every measurement of engagement (from giving to sign-ups) due to its ease of use, speed, and security. Tap technology offers a "tap and go" experience, requiring no special apps or camera alignment, making it more intuitive and convenient than scanning a QR code. Tap cards are also more flexible as you can change links in the VisitorReach dashboard without having to print new QR codes every time a link changes. You can also change the real-time based on who is in the room. For example, one link for Sunday services and a different link for your Men’s event or Pastors Conference.
What smartphones are compatible with VisitorTap?
IOS and Android phones after the year 2018  are compatible with VisitorTap.
Where should I send people when they tap?
You can direct people to whatever best supports their next step. This could be a single action like a guest connect card, your online giving app, or an event sign-up. Or, you can create a landing page with a menu of links, using the Taptree tool, right in the VisitorReach Dashboard! Customize your Taptree with links to as many places as you want -  giving app, prayer request form, sermon notes, or upcoming events. You can easily change the menu of links anytime in your Dashboard.
What if I want to change where the Tap card takes people?
Links are easy to update in the VisitorReach dashboard. Links are automatically updated so churches can do this real-time during a service and can change the links as the announcements change. Most churches build a tap.tree (landing page with a menu of links) that hosts all their important links to church events, giving platform and guest connect cards.
Can I move the current tap cards that I have in my church over to the VisitorReach dashboard?
The VisitorReach Dashboard only works with VisitorReach tapcards. Tap cards provided by other companies are locked to those companies and can not be converted to other companies. Locked cards are important to prevent attempts to hack the cards.
Can I custom design my VisitorTap Cards?
Churches that want to customize tap cards for their church, can submit their own design for either the Round Sticker or Rectangle card options. Custom orders require a minimum order quantity of 500 (each design). The cost is around $4 per card ($2,000 minimum) and takes approximately 6-8 weeks to arrive at a church once design is approved. Contact your Client Success Rep to discuss this option.
